Respondents<\/pre>\n<pre id=\"pre_1\">Coram:       Hon'ble Mr. Justice Rajesh Bindal\n\nPresent:     Mr. Ajay Jain, Advocate, for the cross-objectors\/\n             respondents.\n\n             Mr. Jitender Dhanda, Advocate, for HUDA.\n\n\nRajesh Bindal J.\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">             The landowners had filed cross-objections in the appeal filed by the<br \/>\nHaryana Urban Development Authority seeking further enhancement of<br \/>\ncompensation for the acquired land.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">             Briefly, the facts are that vide Notification dated 30.10.1992, issued<br \/>\nunder <a href=\"\/doc\/43654\/\" id=\"a_1\">Section 4<\/a> of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (for short, &#8220;the Act&#8221;), the land<br \/>\nof the respondents was acquired for setting up Mini Urban Estate Sector-1,<br \/>\nNarnaul. The award was announced by the Collector on 26.10.1995, granting<br \/>\ncompensation @ Rs. 1,58,000\/- per acre for chahi, Rs. 52,000\/- per acre for barani<br \/>\nand Rs. 4,17,000\/- per acre for gair mumkin kind of land. On reference, the learned<br \/>\nAdditional District Judge vide judgment dated 4.10.2005, enhanced the value of<br \/>\nthe land from Rs. 1,58,000\/- per acre to Rs. 3,50,000\/- per acre, and from Rs.<br \/>\n52,000\/- per acre to Rs. 3,00,000\/- per acre for barani and from Rs. 4,17,000\/- per<br \/>\nacre to Rs. 5,00,000\/- per acre for gair mumkin kind of land.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">             Learned counsel for the cross-objectors\/respondents submitted that<br \/>\nthe main appeal was disposed of vide order dated 17.3.2009 in terms of judgment<br \/>\nin RFA No. 788 of 2006 <a href=\"\/doc\/745088\/\" id=\"a_1\">Kirpal Singh vs Government of Haryana and others<\/a>,<br \/>\nhowever, inadvertently the cross-objections remained pending.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">             The fact is not disputed by the learned counsel appearing for the<br \/>\nappellant-HUDA.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_4\">             Since this court has already disposed of the main appeal in terms of<br \/>\njudgment in Kirpal Singh&#8217;s case (supra), the cross-objections are also disposed of<br \/>\nin the same terms.\n<\/p>\n<pre id=\"pre_2\">10.7.2009                                                ( Rajesh Bindal)\nvs.                                                            Judge\n <\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Punjab-Haryana High Court Haryana Urban Development &#8230; vs Smt.
