BASANT\n\n            -------------------------------------------------\n                     B.A. No. 102 OF 2008\n            -------------------------------------------------\n         Dated this the 11th day of January, 2008\n\n                               ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      Application for regular bail.            The petitioner faces<\/p>\n<p>allegations under the Kerala Abkari Act. He was allegedly<\/p>\n<p>found to be in possession of 5 litres of arrack when he was<\/p>\n<p>arrested on 26\/12\/07. He continues in custody from that date.<\/p>\n<p>The petitioner has one other case also under the Kerala Abkari<\/p>\n<p>Act registered against him, submits the learned Public<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutor.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      2.  The learned counsel for the petitioner prays, the<\/p>\n<p>learned Public Prosecutor does not oppose the said prayer on<\/p>\n<p>condition that the Investigator is granted reasonable further<\/p>\n<p>time to complete the investigation and I am satisfied that the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner can now be directed to be enlarged on bail subject to<\/p>\n<p>appropriate terms and conditions.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\"><span class=\"hidden_text\" id=\"span_1\"> B.A. No. 102 OF 2008            -: 2 :-<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">     3.    In the result:\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_4\">     (a) This application is allowed.     The petitioner shall be<\/p>\n<p>released on bail on the following terms and conditions:<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_5\">     (i) The petitioner shall not be released from custody on the<\/p>\n<p>strength of this order prior to 15\/1\/2008. The Investigator shall,<\/p>\n<p>in the meantime,      make every endeavour to complete the<\/p>\n<p>investigation.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_6\">     (ii) The petitioner shall execute a bond for Rs.50,000\/-<\/p>\n<p>with two solvent sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction<\/p>\n<p>of the learned Magistrate.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_7\">     (iii) The petitioner shall make himself available          for<\/p>\n<p>interrogation before the Investigating Officer on all Mondays and<\/p>\n<p>Fridays between 10 a.m. and 12 noon for a period of two months<\/p>\n<p>and thereafter as and when directed by the Investigating<\/p>\n<p>Officer in writing to do so.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_8\">\n<p id=\"p_9\">                                           (R.
