No. 887 of 2002<br \/>\n                  and C.M.P.No.2372 of 2002\n<\/p>\n<p>                 &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<br \/>\n            Dated this the 24th day of July, 2008<\/p>\n<p>                              Judgment<\/p>\n<p>Koshy,J.\n<\/p>\n<p>             The only direction in the judgment was to pay the<\/p>\n<p>pension and pensionary benefits of the writ petitioner within a<\/p>\n<p>period of two months. Since it was not obeyed, a contempt petition<\/p>\n<p>was moved.       That was also closed with a direction to pay the<\/p>\n<p>pensionary benefits within two weeks. This is a delay condonation<\/p>\n<p>petition filed for condoning the delay of 62 days in filing the appeal.<\/p>\n<p>No satisfactory reasons are stated to condone the delay. Notice was<\/p>\n<p>not served on the respondent (writ petitioner) so far. Considering<\/p>\n<p>the judgment passed, we are of the opinion that no interference is<\/p>\n<p>required as the petitioner retired on 30.4.2001. Time for settling<\/p>\n<p>the pensionary benefits are also over.
