Parikh, learned advocate appearing for the respondent<br \/>\nwaives service of rule.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.\tThis<br \/>\ncourt while issuing notice on 28.07.2010 had directed the parties to<br \/>\nmaintain status-quo with regard to the disputed land.  Considering<br \/>\nthe fact that the suit is of the year 2004, this court is of the<br \/>\nopinion that instead of entering into the merits of the matter, it<br \/>\nwould be in the interest of justice to direct the trial court to<br \/>\nexpedite the hearing of the suit.\n<\/p>\n<p>3.\tAccordingly,<br \/>\nif an application is made by either side for expediting the hearing<br \/>\nof the suit, the trial court shall hear and dispose of the same as<br \/>\nexpeditiously as possible.  It is made clear that status quo shall be<br \/>\nmaintained by both the sides till the final disposal of the suit by<br \/>\nthe trial court.  This court has not entered into the merits of the<br \/>\nmatter and therefore the trial court while finally deciding the suit<br \/>\nshall not be influenced by the order passed by this court or by the<br \/>\ncourts below in the interim applications.\n<\/p>\n<p>4.\tIn<br \/>\nview of the above, petition stands disposed of.
