\nThis is an appeal by the claimant for enhancement of<\/p>\n
compensation.\n<\/p>\n
2. Claimant is mother of the deceased.  =.:\u00a7ra;:..\n<\/p>\n
travelling in a tempo. when the   \u00b0 <\/p>\n
Ammavarapalli. a lorry bearing NoeAAA\u00abt\u00a7’7\u00a7SV.d\ufb01vee  e<\/p>\n
negligent manner dashed  ‘Dee  u1V;V1VV1e said
\nimpact, the elajmanfs 803$’   and was
\ntaken to the Government   and from there
\nhe was shifted   inpatient from
\n17.9.2000 to  he succumbed to the<\/p>\n
injury.\n<\/p>\n
3. It ie ateted’  was aged about 23 years<\/p>\n
and was \u00bbearnA mt g.   per month. The Tribunal<\/p>\n

  -. however. deducting 50% of the income<\/p>\n
—  calculated the loss of dependency.\n<\/p>\n

\n  is that, the deduction of 50% is unreasonable. Though
\nT  was bachelor. however. it is not neeessazy that the<\/p>\n

\n~.  cnthe father. Thus even if the deceased is
\nQunrived by parents and siblings, the fam\ufb02y is taken as
\ncxirastlr-:ltingf;”of only two members, that is the bachelor
\n and the mother, who is considered as the cnly
\n  .. dafetzeiaxzi, and 50% is treated as the personal and
\n Vlizkfng expenses of the bachelor and 50% as the
\n Vamiribution to thefamxly. However, where family of the
\ngbClC}I8tOT was latge and defendant on the income of \u00a3129\n<\/p>\n
-Ideceased, as in at case where he has a widowed mcther
\nand large number of younger new-eaming sisters or
\nbrothers, the contribution to the family will be taken
\neither as two-third, or calculated by adopting unit
\nmethod.’<\/p>\n

This Court has held that. 50% could be deducted towards
