SASIDHARAN NAMBIAR,J.\n\n                -------------------------------------------------\n\n                        CRL.R.P.NO.46 OF 2009\n\n                --------------------------------------------------\n\n               Dated this the 5th day of January, 2009\n\n\n                                 O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>     Revision petitioner is the accused and second respondent the<\/p>\n<p>complainant in S.T.950 of 2006 on the file of Judicial First Class<\/p>\n<p>Magistrate-II (Mobile), Kottayam. Revision petitioner was convicted<\/p>\n<p>and sentenced for the offence under section 138 of Negotiable<\/p>\n<p>Instruments Act.       Conviction was confirmed and sentence was<\/p>\n<p>modified by Sessions Judge, Kottayam in Crl. Appeal 858 of 2007.<\/p>\n<p>Revision is filed challenging the conviction.<\/p>\n<p>     2.     Crl.M.A.138 of 2009 is jointly filed by second respondent<\/p>\n<p>along with revision petitioner seeking permission to compound the<\/p>\n<p>offence stating that they have amicably settled the dispute out of<\/p>\n<p>Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>     Crl.M.A. 138 of 2009 is allowed.              Permission is granted to<\/p>\n<p>compound the offence. Offence is compounded.<\/p>\n<p>                           M.
