NO. 410 OF 2005\n            = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n      Dated this the 16th day of October, 2008.\n\n                      J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>     This appeal is preferred against the award of the Motor<\/p>\n<p>Accidents Claims Tribunal, Kottayam in O.P.(MV)23\/00. It is<\/p>\n<p>for enhancement.    A perusal of the award of the Tribunal<\/p>\n<p>would show that the claimant had only sustained some minor<\/p>\n<p>abrasions and tenderness and the Tribunal had referred to<\/p>\n<p>the wound certificate and the medical certificate. It has also<\/p>\n<p>considered the medical bills produced in O.P.23\/00 which<\/p>\n<p>comes to Rs.582\/-.     So taking note of these factors the<\/p>\n<p>Tribunal has awarded a compensation of Rs.5,000\/-. There<\/p>\n<p>is nothing produced before this Court to show that it needs<\/p>\n<p>enhancement or that the compensation awarded is not just<\/p>\n<p>and reasonable. Therefore I do not find any merit in this<\/p>\n<p>appeal and it is dismissed.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                           M.N.
