Kuriakose, J<\/p>\n<p>     Even though Smt.Latha T. Thankappan, the<\/p>\n<p>learned senior Government Pleader addressed us<\/p>\n<p>strenuously, having gone through the impugned<\/p>\n<p>judgment, we are of the view that the land value re-\n<\/p>\n<p>fixed by the learned Subordinate Judge is not<\/p>\n<p>excessive.  The    property   was    situated   in  the<\/p>\n<p>commercially most important area of Pala town.\n<\/p>\n<p>Properties  were   admittedly    enjoying   the   direct<\/p>\n<p>frontage of Ettumanoor Erattupetta state highway. It<\/p>\n<p>was for widening of this highway that the property had<\/p>\n<p>been acquired. The Advocate Commissioner had<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">L. A. A. No.1269 of 2009        -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      reported about the nearness of the property under<\/p>\n<p>      acquisition     to the  important     institutions and<\/p>\n<p>      establishments    within the   municipal    town.  The<\/p>\n<p>      document relied on apart from Ext.C1 Commissioner&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p>      Report is document executed in favour of the<\/p>\n<p>      municipality. The document is executed some two<\/p>\n<p>      years prior to the relevant notification. We are of the<\/p>\n<p>      view that there is no warrant for interference. The<\/p>\n<p>      appeal is dismissed. No costs.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                        PIUS C.
