We\u00a0heard\u00a0this\u00a0case\u00a0through\u00a0videoconferencing.\u00a0The\u00a0Appellant\u00a0was\u00a0not\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CIC\/SM\/A\/2010\/000579\u00a0<br \/>\n present\u00a0in\u00a0spite\u00a0of\u00a0notice.\u00a0The\u00a0Respondent\u00a0was\u00a0present\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0Chennai\u00a0studio.<\/p>\n<p>3.      We\u00a0 heard\u00a0 his\u00a0submissions.\u00a0The\u00a0Appellant\u00a0 had\u00a0 sought\u00a0several\u00a0 details\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>about\u00a0the\u00a0candidates\u00a0who\u00a0had\u00a0appeared\u00a0and\u00a0had\u00a0cleared\u00a0the\u00a0interview\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>post\u00a0of\u00a0probationary\u00a0officer\u00a0in\u00a02009.\u00a0The\u00a0CPIO\u00a0had\u00a0treated\u00a0the\u00a0information\u00a0to\u00a0be\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>personal\u00a0 in \u00a0 nature \u00a0 and\u00a0 had,\u00a0 therefore,\u00a0 denied\u00a0 it \u00a0 by \u00a0 invoking\u00a0 the \u00a0 exemption\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>provision\u00a0contained\u00a0in\u00a0Section\u00a08(1)(j)\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Right\u00a0to\u00a0Information\u00a0(RTI)\u00a0Act.<\/p>\n<p>4.      After\u00a0carefully\u00a0considering\u00a0the\u00a0facts\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0case\u00a0and\u00a0in\u00a0line\u00a0with\u00a0similar\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>decisions\u00a0made\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0past,\u00a0we\u00a0are\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0view\u00a0that\u00a0the\u00a0information\u00a0regarding\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>the\u00a0mark\u00a0secured\u00a0and\u00a0other\u00a0such\u00a0details\u00a0should\u00a0be\u00a0provided\u00a0only\u00a0in\u00a0respect\u00a0of\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>those \u00a0 candidates \u00a0 who \u00a0 had \u00a0 finally \u00a0 been \u00a0 declared \u00a0 successful \u00a0 and \u00a0 had \u00a0 been\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>offered\u00a0appointment\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0Bank.\u00a0Therefore,\u00a0we\u00a0direct\u00a0the\u00a0CPIO\u00a0to\u00a0provide\u00a0to\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>the\u00a0Appellant\u00a0within\u00a010\u00a0working\u00a0days\u00a0from\u00a0the\u00a0receipt\u00a0of\u00a0this\u00a0order\u00a0the\u00a0desired\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>information\u00a0in\u00a0regard\u00a0to\u00a0only\u00a0the\u00a0successful\u00a0candidates.<\/p>\n<p>5.
