DEPUTY-SPEAKER: We now take up Item No.22.\n<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=THE%20MINISTER%20OF%20HOME%20AFFAIRS%20\">THE MINISTER OF HOME AFFAIRS <\/a>(<a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=SHRI%20L.K.%20ADVANI\">SHRI L.K. ADVANI<\/a>): Sir, I beg to move for leave to withdraw the following motion moved on the 11th December, 2001, namely:-\n<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;That leave be granted to introduce a Bill to make provisions for the prevention of, and for dealing with, terrorist activities and for matters connected therewith. &#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0MR. DEPUTY-SPEAKER: I have received a notice from Shri Varkala Radhakrishnan for opposing the withdrawal of motion listed at Item No.22 in today&#8221;&#8221;s List of Business. There is no provision in the rules to oppose such motion. Notice tabled by Shri Radhakrishnan is, therefore, inadmissible.\n<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=SHRI%20VARKALA%20RADHAKRISHNAN%20\">SHRI VARKALA RADHAKRISHNAN <\/a>(<a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=CHIRAYINKIL\">CHIRAYINKIL<\/a>): Even without referring to the question! Sir, in the schedule of Business it was stated that if the first item is not accepted, the second item will not be taken up.\n<\/p>\n<p>MR. DEPUTY-SPEAKER: You are a very able advocate and you were the Speaker of Kerala Assembly. I have read out the rule also.\n<\/p>\n<p>SHRI VARKALA RADHAKRISHNAN : Sir, I am not on the issue of Speakership. I am only referring to the rules.\n<\/p>\n<p>You must realise that the Government may come and go. It cannot be taken in a casual manner.\n<\/p>\n<p>MR.
