Justice V.GIRI\n\n Dated :06\/10\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                        V.GIRI, J\n                      -------------------\n                   W.P.(C).28268\/2008\n                      --------------------\n       Dated this the 6th day of October, 2008\n\n                      JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Petitioner is operating a Cashew factory and has<\/p>\n<p>sought a factory licence in this regard, under the<\/p>\n<p>Factories Act.     Petitioner claims to have obtained<\/p>\n<p>consent from the Pollution Control Board as evidenced<\/p>\n<p>by Ext.P5 and from the District Medical Officer.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, according to the learned counsel for the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner, application for licence under the Factories<\/p>\n<p>Act submitted before the first respondent, was<\/p>\n<p>forwarded to the second respondent for inspection.<\/p>\n<p>Inspection has been conducted on 9.9.2008 and report<\/p>\n<p>has been then forwarded to the first respondent.<\/p>\n<p>2.    Having heard learned counsel and the learned<\/p>\n<p>Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of<\/p>\n<p>directing the first respondent to take a decision on the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner&#8217;s    application for           licence under the<\/p>\n<p>Factories Act, if the same has been received and if it<\/p>\n<p>is otherwise in order, within a period of six weeks from<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C).28268\/2008<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                             2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
