Respondents.\n\n\nPrayer: Petition filed seeking for a writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representations, dated 20.01.2011 to include my name in the said VSNL scheme allotment list in accordance with the rates fixed by the Registrar of Societies (Housing) for an eligible members, and allot one plot in S.No.156 and 156\/2 and No.118 Padiyanallur in favour of the petitioner.\n\n\t\tFor Petitioner\t  : Mr.P.Mohanraj\n\n\t\tFor Respondents   : Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal\n\t\t\t\t\t    Government Advocate.\t\nO R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tHeard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsels appearing for the respondents.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that it would suffice, if the second respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, dated 20.01.2011, on merits, within a specified period.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. The learned counsels appearing on behalf of the respondents, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, dated 20.01.2011, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the representation dated 20.01.2011, to the second respondent along with a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.<br \/>\n\t\tThe writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
