The appellant is present at NIC, Kota. The Department is represented by<br \/>\nShri Barolia, ASP, present at NIC, Kota. Shri Gopal Lal Sharma, Inspector, is<br \/>\npresent at NIC, Ajmer.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.                 The parties are heard. It is the submission of the appellant that he<br \/>\nhad filed RTI application dated 1.5.2009, for seeking information regarding receipt of<br \/>\nthe decision of CAT, Jaipur Bench, in the O\/o SSPOs, Kota, in <a href=\"\/doc\/43372\/\">K K Gupta vs. Union<br \/>\nof India &amp; Ors. SSPO Kota,<\/a> however, had supplied requisite information vide letter<br \/>\ndated 2.7.2009. Thus, there was a delay of about 30 days in supply of information.<br \/>\nHe, therefore, requests the Commission to initiate penal action against the CPIO and<br \/>\nalso to award him suitable compensation.\n<\/p>\n<p>3.                In the premises, notice may be issued to SSPO, Kota, to explain<br \/>\nwhy penalty @ of Rs. 250\/- per day should not be imposed on him for delayed supply<br \/>\nof information. This notice is returnable in 04 weeks time. The matter will now<br \/>\ncome up for hearing on 14th March, 2011 at 10.30 a.m.<br \/>\n                                                                               Sd\/-\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                                     (M.L.
