Justice C.T.RAVIKUMAR\n\n Dated :30\/09\/2009\n\n O R D E R\n         KURIAN JOSEPH &amp; C.T.RAVIKUMAR, JJ.\n            -----------------------------------------\n                  W.P(C)No.27112 of 2009\n            -----------------------------------------\n       Dated this the 30th day of September, 2009\n\n                           JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>Kurian Joseph,J.\n<\/p>\n<p>           The writ petition is filed with the following prayer:-<\/p>\n<p>           i)     Issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd<\/p>\n<p>           and 3rd    respondents  to give  necessary  and<\/p>\n<p>           adequate police protection to the life of the<\/p>\n<p>           petitioner.\n<\/p>\n<p>Learned counsel for respondents 4 and 5 submitted that they<\/p>\n<p>had not caused any threat to the life of the petitioner.<\/p>\n<p>However, the veiled motive on the part of the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>behind his prosecution is only to get away from the arrest in<\/p>\n<p>two criminal cases pending against him. It is also submitted<\/p>\n<p>that there are other cases as well.
