<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=Title%20\">Title <\/a>:  Need to provide funds for EDUSAT project under SSA Programme in Gulbarga district, Karnataka.  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p><a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=SHRI%20IQBAL%20AHMED%20SARADGI%20\">SHRI IQBAL AHMED SARADGI <\/a>(<a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=GULBARGA\">GULBARGA<\/a>): Satellite Communication Department of Space had requested the Government of Karnataka to send the requirement of funds for EDUSAT project under the SSA programme so as to enable it to include in the revised budget 2005-06.\u00a0 The Government of Karnataka had forwarded a letter to the Chairman, ISRO on 24.6.2006 wherein it had been mentioned that the project report has been prepared to cover 2477 Government and private aided primary schools in Gulbarga District under EDUSAT project at the cost of Rs. 2234 lakh.\u00a0 Although ISRO has in principle agreed to extend the project to 800 schools in Gulbarga District but the fund has not been provided so far.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I, therefore, urge upon the Union Government to kindly expedite the project at an early date so that 800 schools in Gulbarga district will be able to implement the scheme.\n<\/p>\n<p>[r23]\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lok Sabha Debates Need To Provide Funds For Edusat Project Under Ssa Programme In &#8230;
