S.J. MUKHOPADHAYA)<\/p>\n<p>\tMr<br \/>\nB.M. Parmar, General Manager (Administration), Gujarat State Road<br \/>\nTransport Corporation, Ahmedabad, who is present, submitted that out<br \/>\nof 3936 cases, where award has been passed, about 2800 cases<br \/>\napproximately settled, Rs.102 Crores was due for payment, now<br \/>\napproximately an amount of Rs.60 crore has been released and will be<br \/>\npaid by 31st<br \/>\nMay 2011 and another sum of Rs.42 crore aprpoximately is required for<br \/>\npayment of outstanding dues of others.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tLearned<br \/>\nGovernment Pleader is directed to obtain instructions and state<br \/>\nwhether the State Government will release approximately Rs.42 crore<br \/>\nto the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation for payment of<br \/>\noutstanding dues.  Two days time is allowed to obtain such<br \/>\ninstructions and file affidavit.   The Corporation will file separate<br \/>\naffidavit giving time-frame by which they will pay the amount as<br \/>\ninformed to the Court.   They will also state whether they intend to<br \/>\nframe any Scheme for settlement outside the Tribunal through Lok<br \/>\nAdalat, as and when they come to know of the motor accident claim<br \/>\nagainst Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation, Ahmedabad.  In such<br \/>\ncase, this Court may direct the Gujarat State Legal Services<br \/>\nAuthority to open a Lok Adalat in the premises of the Gujarat State<br \/>\nRoad Transport Corporation, Ahmedabad or at an appropriate place.<br \/>\nThe affidavit should be filed by the General Manager<br \/>\n(Administration), Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation,<br \/>\nAhmedabad.
