Petitioners are accused 1, 5 and 6 in the crime registered<\/p>\n<p>under Sections 395 and 354 of Indian Penal Code.<\/p>\n<p>      3. According learned counsel for petitioners, first Petitioner&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p>father filed a complaint alleging that petitioners etc. were<\/p>\n<p>manhandled by the defacto complainant and others, following a<\/p>\n<p>quarrel relating to breaking of side mirror of the car of the first<\/p>\n<p>accused. When a boy crossed the road, he happened to hit against<\/p>\n<p>the side mirror of the car and it was broken. There was a quarrel<\/p>\n<p>consequent to this, between two groups, but nothing as alleged had<\/p>\n<p>taken place, it is submitted. Petitioners 2 and 3 were arrested on<\/p>\n<p>18.5.2008 and first petitioner was arrested on 19.5.2008 and they<\/p>\n<p>are in custody since then.\n<\/p>\n<p>      4. Learned Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation is<\/p>\n<p>in progress. Petitioners&#8217; further detention may not be necessary and<\/p>\n<p>this petition is not opposed.\n<\/p>\n<p>      Hence, the petitioners are granted bail on the following terms<\/p>\n<p>and conditions:\n<\/p>\n<p>      i) Petitioners shall execute a bond for Rs.50,000\/- each with<\/p>\n<p>two solvent sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of the<\/p>\n<p>court below.\n<\/p>\n<p>      ii) Petitioners shall report before the investigating officer on<\/p>\n<p>every Monday between 10 AM and 1 PM until further orders.<\/p>\n<p>      Petition is allowed.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                       K.HEMA, JUDGE<br \/>\nvgs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kerala High Court Alwin vs State Of Kerala on 24 June, 2008 IN THE HIGH COURT OF KERALA AT ERNAKULAM Bail Appl..No. 3987 of 2008() 1.
