We \u00a0 heard \u00a0 this \u00a0 case \u00a0 through \u00a0 videoconferencing. \u00a0 The \u00a0 Appellant \u00a0 was\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>present\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0Firozabad\u00a0studio\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0NIC.\u00a0The\u00a0Respondent\u00a0was\u00a0present\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Agra\u00a0studio.\u00a0We\u00a0heard\u00a0their\u00a0submissions.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>3.      The \u00a0 Appellant \u00a0 submitted \u00a0 that \u00a0 the \u00a0 CPIO \u00a0 had \u00a0 not \u00a0 provided \u00a0 him \u00a0 with\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>adequate\u00a0information.\u00a0We\u00a0carefully\u00a0perused\u00a0the\u00a0contents\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0RTI\u00a0application\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>as\u00a0well\u00a0as\u00a0the\u00a0reply\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0CPIO.\u00a0While\u00a0the\u00a0Appellant\u00a0had\u00a0sought\u00a0information\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>regarding\u00a0the\u00a0rules\u00a0and\u00a0regulations\u00a0governing\u00a0the\u00a0deduction\u00a0of\u00a0tax\u00a0at\u00a0source,\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>exchange\u00a0 of \u00a0 soiled\/damaged\u00a0 currency\u00a0 notes, \u00a0 daily \u00a0 timetable \u00a0 of \u00a0 the \u00a0 branch,\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>sanction\u00a0of\u00a0loan\u00a0for\u00a0purchase\u00a0of\u00a0vehicles\u00a0and\u00a0for\u00a0education\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0timing\u00a0for\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>making\u00a0entries\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0passbooks\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0customers,\u00a0the\u00a0CPIO\u00a0had\u00a0given\u00a0some\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>clarification\/information\u00a0against\u00a0only\u00a0some\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0queries.\u00a0For\u00a0some\u00a0others,\u00a0he\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>had \u00a0 referred \u00a0 the \u00a0 Appellant \u00a0 to \u00a0 the \u00a0 website \u00a0 of \u00a0 the \u00a0 bank \u00a0 where \u00a0 the \u00a0 desired\u00a0<br \/>\n information\u00a0was\u00a0apparently\u00a0available.\u00a0The\u00a0Appellant\u00a0submitted\u00a0that\u00a0he\u00a0was\u00a0not\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>in\u00a0a\u00a0position\u00a0to\u00a0get\u00a0the\u00a0desired\u00a0information\u00a0from\u00a0the\u00a0website\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0bank\u00a0as\u00a0he\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>did\u00a0not\u00a0have\u00a0access\u00a0to\u00a0Internet.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>4.     In\u00a0the\u00a0light\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0above,\u00a0we\u00a0direct\u00a0the\u00a0CPIO\u00a0to\u00a0provide\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0Appellant\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>within\u00a010\u00a0working\u00a0days\u00a0from\u00a0the\u00a0receipt\u00a0of\u00a0this\u00a0order,\u00a0the\u00a0following\u00a0information:<\/p>\n<p>i)\u00a0photocopy\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0order\/rules\u00a0based\u00a0on\u00a0which\u00a0the\u00a0bank\u00a0deducts\u00a0tax\u00a0at\u00a0source;<\/p>\n<p>ii)\u00a0photocopy\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Citizen\u00a0Charter\u00a0followed\u00a0by\u00a0the\u00a0bank;<\/p>\n<p>iii)\u00a0photocopy\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0guidelines\/rules\u00a0followed\u00a0by\u00a0the\u00a0bank\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a0exchange\u00a0of\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>soiled\/damaged\u00a0currency\u00a0notes;\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>iv)\u00a0photocopy\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0guidelines\u00a0for\u00a0sanction\u00a0of\u00a0loan\u00a0for\u00a0purchase\u00a0of\u00a0vehicle\u00a0and\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>for\u00a0education;\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>v) \u00a0 photocopy\u00a0 of \u00a0 the \u00a0 order\u00a0 laying\u00a0 down\u00a0 the \u00a0 timetable\u00a0 to \u00a0 be \u00a0 followed\u00a0 by\u00a0 the\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>branches;\u00a0and<\/p>\n<p>vi)\u00a0daily\u00a0timing\u00a0for\u00a0making\u00a0entries\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0customer\u00a0passbooks.<\/p>\n<p>5.     The\u00a0Appellant\u00a0complained\u00a0that\u00a0the\u00a0branch\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0bank\u00a0did\u00a0not\u00a0display\u00a0the\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>names\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0CPIO\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0Appellate\u00a0Authority\u00a0and,\u00a0therefore,\u00a0the\u00a0citizens\u00a0had\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>no\u00a0knowledge\u00a0where\u00a0to\u00a0approach\u00a0for\u00a0seeking\u00a0information.\u00a0If\u00a0it\u00a0is\u00a0so,\u00a0we\u00a0strongly\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>advise\u00a0the\u00a0CPIO\u00a0to\u00a0ensure\u00a0that\u00a0in\u00a0every\u00a0branch\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0bank\u00a0in\u00a0his\u00a0jurisdiction,\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>the\u00a0names\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0CPIO\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0Appellate\u00a0Authority\u00a0are\u00a0prominently\u00a0displayed\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>without\u00a0any\u00a0further\u00a0loss\u00a0of\u00a0time\u00a0and\u00a0certainly\u00a0within\u00a015\u00a0working\u00a0days\u00a0from\u00a0the\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>receipt\u00a0of\u00a0this\u00a0order.\n<\/p>\n<p> 6.     The\u00a0appeal\u00a0is\u00a0accordingly\u00a0disposed\u00a0off.\n<\/p>\n<p>7.
