Respondents\n                                          --------\n<\/pre>\n<p>4   13.4.2011            Heard learned counsel for the appellants and<\/p>\n<p>                learned counsel for the State.\n<\/p>\n<p>                        By the impugned order, the learned Writ Court<\/p>\n<p>                has dismissed the writ petition after noticing that the<\/p>\n<p>                claim of the appellants was on the basis that they are<\/p>\n<p>                retrenched employees of the census operation carried in<\/p>\n<p>                the year 1981. The main ground for filing writ petition<\/p>\n<p>                in the year 2005 is that another person, one Baikunth<\/p>\n<p>                Thakur, was appointed in the year 1989. Now, in 2010-<\/p>\n<p>                11 no useful purpose will be served by directing the<\/p>\n<p>                authorities to consider the case of the persons, who were<\/p>\n<p>                retrenched 30 years earlier.
