Justice V.RAMKUMAR\n\n Dated :26\/10\/2010\n\n O R D E R\n                         V.RAMKUMAR, J.\n              ----------------------------------------------\n              Bail Application No.6696 of 2010\n             ------------------------------------------------\n          Dated this the 26th day of October, 2010\n\n                                ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioners, who are accused Nos.1 &amp; 2 in Crime<\/p>\n<p>No.2734 of 2010 of Central Police Station, Ernakulam for<\/p>\n<p>offences punishable under Sections 406 &amp; 420 read with<\/p>\n<p>Section 34 I.P.C., seek their enlargement on bail.              The<\/p>\n<p>petitioners were arrested on 26\/9\/2010.<\/p>\n<p>      2.     The learned Public Prosecutor opposed the<\/p>\n<p>application contending inter alia that the petitioners and the<\/p>\n<p>other accused persons after hiring five vehicles on rent were<\/p>\n<p>subsequently making money out of it by pledging the same as<\/p>\n<p>if the vehicles belonged to them.\n<\/p>\n<p>      3.   Having regard to the gravity of the offences,<\/p>\n<p>nature of the allegations levelled against the petitioners, the<\/p>\n<p>relative conduct of the parties, the extent of the injury<\/p>\n<p>sustained, the propensities of the petitioners, the sentiments<\/p>\n<p>of the near relatives of the victim and the other facts and<\/p>\n<p>circumstances of the case, I am of the view that if the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners are released on bail, they will definitely influence<\/p>\n<p>and intimidate the prosecution witnesses. There is also the<\/p>\n<p>Bail Appln.No.6696\/2010<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                               : 2 :<\/span><\/p>\n<p>likelihood of the petitioners making themselves scarce and<\/p>\n<p>fleeing from justice.
