Justice K.R.UDAYABHANU\n\n Dated :18\/05\/2007\n\n O R D E R\n                             K.R.UDAYABHANU, J\n\n                        ---------------------------------------------\n\n                             CRL.R.P.No.1839 of 2007\n\n                         ---------------------------------------------\n\n                    Dated this the 18th day of May, 2007\n\n\n\n\n                                     O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>       The revision petitioner stands convicted for the offence under<\/p>\n<p>Section   138   of   the   Negotiable   Instruments   Act   and   sentenced   to<\/p>\n<p>imprisonment till the rising of the court and to pay a compensation<\/p>\n<p>of Rs.1,00,000\/-  to the complainant vide Section 357(3) of the Code<\/p>\n<p>of   Criminal   Procedure   and   in   default,   to   undergo   simple<\/p>\n<p>imprisonment for three months.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>       2.    Counsel   for   the   revision   petitioner   has   only   sought   for<\/p>\n<p>time   to   pay   the   amount   of   compensation.     In   the   circumstances,<\/p>\n<p>revision petitioner is granted six months&#8217; time from today onwards<\/p>\n<p>to   make   the   payment.     He   shall   appear   before   the   Judicial   First<\/p>\n<p>Class   Magistrate   Court-II   (Mobile),   Kottayam   on   20.11.2007   to<\/p>\n<p>receive  the sentence.
