SELVARASU <\/a>(<a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=NAGAPPATTINAM\">NAGAPPATTINAM<\/a>): Mr. Chairman, Sir, I would request the  hon. Prime Minister to kindly stop the advertisement for the forthcoming Civil  Services Examination, 1999. I understand that this advertisement is to be  published on 12th December, 1998. As per the recommendations of the Fifth  Central Pay Commission, the Government has increased the retirement age from 58  to 60 years and they have given this benefit to all the Civil Services. But this  benefit of increasing the age limit has not been given to the candidates who  appeared in the Civil Services Examination last year. Due to this, the  candidates could not get the age relaxation of two years and they are getting  age relaxation of only one year. The deserving candidates want age relaxation  for one more year. They want that age limit should be increased from 30 to 31  years for `OC&#8217;, from 33 to 34 years for `OBC&#8217; and from 35 to 36 years for the  Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes. They also want that relaxation of one  more attempt should be given for all the categories. This is a very important  matter and I would request the hon.
