Justice K.T.SANKARAN\n\n Dated :04\/06\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                             K.T.SANKARAN, J.\n                     --------------------------------------------\n                     W.P.(C) NO. 15978 OF 2008 B\n                     --------------------------------------------\n                      Dated this the 4th June, 2008\n\n                                   JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>       The petitioner states that she entered service as a Junior Lecturer<\/p>\n<p>with effect from 1.1.1997 and continued as such till 3.10.2000 under the<\/p>\n<p>Corporate Management of the fourth respondent. It is stated that when<\/p>\n<p>Pre-degree Course was de-linked from colleges, the petitioner was<\/p>\n<p>deployed as H.S.S.T. (English) with effect from 4.10.2000. On 1.4.2008,<\/p>\n<p>the post of Principal became vacant due to the retirement of Sri.Joseph<\/p>\n<p>John. It is also stated that the senior-most Junior Lecturer relinquished<\/p>\n<p>her claim for the period from 1.4.2008 to 31.3.2009. Ext.P2 appointment<\/p>\n<p>order was issued by the Corporate Manager appointing the petitioner as<\/p>\n<p>Principal-in-charge for the period from 1.4.2008 to 31.3.2009. The order<\/p>\n<p>of appointment was submitted to the third respondent, The Regional<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Director, for approval as per Exts.P3 and P4. It is stated that<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P6 representation was also sent by the Manager to the Regional<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Director. The grievance of the petitioner is that Exts.P3 and P6<\/p>\n<p>are not disposed of by the third respondent.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>       2. Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that<\/p>\n<p>the third respondent will dispose of Exts.P3 and P6 in accordance with<\/p>\n<p>law within a period of two months, after affording an opportunity of being<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C) NO.15978 OF 2008<\/p>\n<p>                                     :: 2 ::\n<\/p>\n<p>heard to the petitioner, the Manager and the affected parties, if any. In<\/p>\n<p>view of the submission made by the learned Government Pleader, it is<\/p>\n<p>not necessary to issue notice to the fourth respondent.
