Looking to the facts of<br \/>\nthe case, I am of the opinion that ends of justice would be met by<br \/>\npassing the following order.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.1\t\tParties<br \/>\nwill approach the Industrial Tribunal, Ahmedabad on a date, which may<br \/>\nbe fixed by learned counsel for the respective parties and shall,<br \/>\nthereafter, proceed with the hearing of Reference [ITC] No.1290 of<br \/>\n2008 on the date so fixed. Both the sides shall co-operate in the<br \/>\nproceedings before the Industrial Tribunal so as to ensure that the<br \/>\nReference is disposed of as expeditiously as possible, preferably<br \/>\nwithin a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order.<br \/>\nIt is, however, observed that this Court has not entered into the<br \/>\nmerits of the case and that the Industrial Tribunal shall decide the<br \/>\nReference on its own merits. Till the reference is disposed of, the<br \/>\nstatus-quo ordered by this Court in its order dated 04.06.2009 shall<br \/>\nbe maintained and the service conditions of the members of the<br \/>\npetitioner-Union shall not be changed, without following due process<br \/>\nof law.\n<\/p>\n<p>4.\t\tWith<br \/>\nthe aforesaid observations &amp;
