Joseph, J.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>     Petitioners have approached this Court seeking the<\/p>\n<p>following reliefs:\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>           &#8220;i)      Issue a writ of mandamus or other<\/p>\n<p>      appropriate writ, order or direction directing<\/p>\n<p>      respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police<\/p>\n<p>      protection to the life and property of the petitioners.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>           ii)     Issue a writ of mandamus or other<\/p>\n<p>      appropriate writ, order or direction directing<\/p>\n<p>      respondents 1 to 3 to take all necessary steps so as<\/p>\n<p>      to ensure that Ext.P3 representation is not flouted<\/p>\n<p>      by respondents 4 to 7 or their men or agents.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>     2. The first petitioner is residing with the second wife,<\/p>\n<p>namely the second respondent. There was an earlier marriage.<\/p>\n<p>That ended in divorce. It is stated that the divorced wife, the<\/p>\n<p>fourth respondent and her henchmen who are arrayed as<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WPC.8629\/10 C                   2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>respondents 5 to 7, are continuously threatening and assaulting<\/p>\n<p>the petitioners. There is reference to certain crimes. Petitioners<\/p>\n<p>have also produced certain Certificates.        Learned counsel<\/p>\n<p>appearing on behalf of respondents 4 to 7 would seek to file<\/p>\n<p>Counter.    He would say that respondents 4 to 7 have no<\/p>\n<p>intention to cause any threat to the petitioners and they have<\/p>\n<p>done nothing also.     Without going into the allegations and<\/p>\n<p>recording the submission of the learned counsel for respondents<\/p>\n<p>4 to 7, we dispose of the Writ Petition directing respondents 2<\/p>\n<p>and 3 to provide adequate protection for the life of the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners as against respondents 4 to 7 and their men as and<\/p>\n<p>when required.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                    Sd\/=<br \/>\n                                               K.M.
