No.7310 of 1999 on the file of the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal directing to issue a direction to the respondents to select and appoint the petitioner as Secondary Grade Teacher in any one of the vacancies in the post of Secondary Grade Teacher in Government High and Higher Secondary Schools and Panchayat Union Primary and Middle Schools and Municipal Primary and Middle Schools in Dharmapuri District. \n                        For Petitioner   \t  :  Mr. R. Saseetharan\n\n\t\t\tFor Respondents\t  :  Mr. S. Sivashanmugam\n\t\t\t\t\t\t     Government Advocate \n                                       \t\t\t\t\t  \t       \nO R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tThis writ petition is filed to issue a direction to the respondents to select and appoint the petitioner as Secondary Grade Teacher in any one of the vacancies in the post of Secondary Grade Teacher in Government High and Higher Secondary Schools and Panchayat Union Primary and Middle Schools and Municipal Primary and Middle Schools in Dharmapuri District.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. The Original Application was filed in the year 1999 by 33 years old, petitioner seeking the aforesaid relief. At the time of final hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that one of the reasons for non consideration of the petitioner for appointment to the above said post is that she holds a diploma certificate in Teacher Education granted by the National Institute of Human Resources Development, Government of India and it has to be treated as equivalent by the second respondent to consider her claim for appointment as above.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. Heard Mr. S. Sivashanmugam, learned Government Advocate.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. In view of the requirement of certification by the second respondent, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted at this point of time. The petitioner is at liberty to make a representation to the second respondent to consider the claim for granting equivalent certificate. As and when such representation is made, the second respondent shall dispose of the same within a period of two months from the date of receipt of such representation.
