\ninspect and submit a report on soil erosion and the extent of
\npollution of surface water, ground water sources, irrigatible land
\nbecause of the activities carried out by Jetpur Dyeing and Printing
\nAssociation members and others in and around Jetpur, District Rajkot.

\tThe
\nlearned counsel appearing on behalf of the 5th respondent\n<\/p>\n
– Jetpur Dyeing & Printing Association submits that the
\nAssociation is ready to bear the aforesaid costs of Rs.4,75,000\/- and
\nfurther costs if any incurred by the Pollution Control Board.\n<\/p>\n
\tIn
\nthe circumstances, we direct the 5th respondent –
\nJetpur Dyeing & Printing Association to deposit a sum of
\nRs,4,75,000\/- with the Gujarat State Pollution Control Board by 17th
\nMay, 2011.   The Member Secretary of the Pollution Control Board will
\nensure that the said amount is kept in a separate No Lien interest
\nbearing account and the fund can be released as and when this Court
\nwill direct to make payment in favour of the Members of the
\nCommittee, Field Assistant and other expenditures like vehicle, etc.
\nOut of the aforesaid amount, the Pollution Control may draw a sum of
\nRs.2,00,000\/- for the present for the expenditures for hiring of the
\nvehicle, draw and analyze the samples, etc.  <\/p>\n
\tIt
\nis expected that the Committee will submit its report by 16th
\nAugust, 2011.\n<\/p>\n
\tLet
\na progress report be submitted by the end of June, 2011.\n<\/p>\n
\tPost
\nthe matter on 5th July, 2011.\n<\/p>\n
