No.6608 of 2009\n             ---------------------------------\n              Dated, this the 2nd day of March, 2009\n\n                            J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioner submits that though by Ext.P1 he purchased an<\/p>\n<p>extent of 9.950 cents of land in Survey No.158\/7 A2 of Mankunnam<\/p>\n<p>Village, Kanayannur Taluk, in the resurvey that was held, due to a<\/p>\n<p>mistake that was committed, there was reduction of 1 cent in the<\/p>\n<p>total extent held by him. According to him, he came to know about<\/p>\n<p>this only when mutation was sought and on realising the mistake,<\/p>\n<p>he filed Exts.P3 &amp; P5 before the 2nd respondent for correction.<\/p>\n<p>Orders have not been passed on the applications and that led the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner to file the writ petition.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.    Since the grievance of the petitioner is as above, it is<\/p>\n<p>only appropriate that the 2nd respondent passes orders on the<\/p>\n<p>applications made by the petitioner.      Therefore, I direct the 2nd<\/p>\n<p>respondent to consider and pass orders on Exts.P3 &amp; P5<\/p>\n<p>applications.
