Justice KURIAN JOSEPH\n\n Dated :30\/03\/2007\n\n O R D E R\n                              KURIAN JOSEPH, J.\n\n               - - - - - - - - -  - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n\n                         W.P.(C)NO.7562 OF 2006\n\n               - - - - - - - - -  - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n\n                Dated this the 30th day of March 2007\n\n\n                                    JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Writ  petition is filed with the following prayers:<\/p>\n<p>      (i)to   call   for   the   entire   records   leading   upto<\/p>\n<p>         Exts.P11   and   P12   and   to   quash   the<\/p>\n<p>         arrangements   made   therein   compelling   the<\/p>\n<p>         petitioners to do the work of pump operators by<\/p>\n<p>         the issuance of a writ of certiorari or any other<\/p>\n<p>         writ, direction, or order.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>      (ii)To   issue   a   writ   of   mandamus   compelling   the<\/p>\n<p>         respondents   to   refrain   from   insisting   the<\/p>\n<p>         petitioners to do the work of pump operators.<\/p>\n<p>      (iii)To issue a direction that the petitioners are to<\/p>\n<p>         function   in   Mahatma   Gandhi   University   only   a<\/p>\n<p>         plumbers   and   to   attend   to   the   duties   of<\/p>\n<p>         plumbers   alone   and   not   to   be   made   to   work   a<\/p>\n<p>         pump operators.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.  The petitioners approached this court earlier and this<\/p>\n<p>court   vide   Ext.P7   judgment   had   directed   the   University   to<\/p>\n<p>consider   their   grievance.     It   is   seen   that   pursuant   to   Ext.P7<\/p>\n<p>judgment, Ext.P8 notice was issued for a personal hearing.
