K.S. MANOJ <\/a>(<a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=ALLEPPEY\">ALLEPPEY<\/a>):\u00a0 Sir, the State Government allocated kerosene to the fishermen for operating their Out Board Engines for their boats from 1990 onwards.\u00a0 There are 15,500 fishing permits which have been issued against a requirement of 5,200 kilo litres of kerosene per month.\u00a0 The allotment of kerosene to Kerala till March, 2001 was 33,174 kilo litres per month.\u00a0 The Central Government had reduced allocation every year to the extent of 10,000 kilo litres per month for the last five years.\u00a0 Consequently, on the reduction in the kerosene allotted by the Government of India to the State Government, the State Government have been giving only 50 per cent of the requirement for the fishing sector.\u00a0 So the fishermen have to purchase kerosene from the open market at exorbitant prices.\u00a0 This results in exploitation of the fishermen. \u00a0Post Tsunami, fish catching is also reduced and they are in debt burden.\u00a0 In order to lift them from the debt burden, I would request the Central Government to provide special allocation of subsidised kerosene to the traditional fishermen in Kerala.\n<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=%C2%A0%E0%A4%89%E0%A4%AA%E0%A4%BE%E0%A4%A7%E0%A5%8D%E0%A4%AF%E0%A4%95%E0%A5%8D%E0%A4%B7%20%E0%A4%AE%E0%A4%B9%E0%A5%8B%E0%A4%A6%E0%A4%AF%20%3A%C2%A0%C2%A0%C2%A0%20%E0%A4%B6%E0%A5%8D%E0%A4%B0%E0%A5%80%20%E0%A4%AA%E0%A4%BE%E0%A4%B0%E0%A4%B8%20%E0%A4%A8%E0%A4%BE%E0%A4%A5%20%E0%A4%AF%E0%A4%BE%E0%A4%A6%E0%A4%B5%20\">\u00a0\u0909\u092a\u093e\u0927\u094d\u092f\u0915\u094d\u0937 \u092e\u0939\u094b\u0926\u092f :\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u0936\u094d\u0930\u0940 \u092a\u093e\u0930\u0938 \u0928\u093e\u0925 \u092f\u093e\u0926\u0935 <\/a>:\u00a0\u00a0 \u0905\u0928\u0941\u092a\u0938\u094d\u0925\u093f\u0924  <\/p>\n<p><a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=%20%E0%A4%B6%E0%A5%8D%E0%A4%B0%E0%A5%80%20%E0%A4%85%E0%A4%A8%E0%A4%BF%E0%A4%B0%E0%A5%81%E0%A4%A6%E0%A5%8D%E0%A4%A7%20%E0%A4%AA%E0%A5%8D%E0%A4%B0%E0%A4%B8%E0%A4%BE%E0%A4%A6%20%E0%A4%AF%E0%A4%BE%E0%A4%A6%E0%A4%B5%20\"> \u0936\u094d\u0930\u0940 \u0905\u0928\u093f\u0930\u0941\u0926\u094d\u0927 \u092a\u094d\u0930\u0938\u093e\u0926 \u092f\u093e\u0926\u0935 <\/a>:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u0905\u0928\u0941\u092a\u0938\u094d\u0925\u0924[MSOffice33]\u00a0  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lok Sabha Debates Need To Provide Special Allocation Of Subsidised Kerosene To The &#8230; on 15 December, 2005 an&gt; Title : Need to provide special allocation of subsidised kerosene to the traditional fishermen in Kerala.
