AGP for Respondents\n: 1 - 3. \n================================================= \n\n \n\t  \n\t \n\t  \n\t\t \n\t\t\t \n\nCORAM\n\t\t\t: \n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t \n\t\t\t \n\nHONOURABLE\n\t\t\tMR.JUSTICE S.R.BRAHMBHATT\n\t\t\n\t\n\n \n\n \n \n\n\n \n\nDate\n: 09\/09\/2011 \n\n \n\n \n \nORAL\nORDER<\/pre>\n<p>Shri<br \/>\n\tPradeep Patel, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner seeks<br \/>\n\tpermission to withdraw this petition without making submission on<br \/>\n\tmerits and prays that the Court may direct the respondent before<br \/>\n\twhom the revision application is pending to decide it expeditiously.<br \/>\n\tLearned AGP appearing on advance copy submitted that the request for<br \/>\n\tregularization is turned down by the District Collector and the<br \/>\n\trevisional authority has rejected prayer for interim relief. In view<br \/>\n\tof this, the Court may pass appropriate order.\n<\/p>\n<p>This<br \/>\n\tCourt is of the view that when the citizen is before the authority<br \/>\n\twith an application under the remedy provided under the statute, the<br \/>\n\tauthority is under an obligation to dispose of it as expeditiously<br \/>\n\tas possible, and therefore, without expressing any opinion on merit,<br \/>\n\tit is appropriate to direct the respondent before whom the revision<br \/>\n\tapplication is pending, to dispose of the same as expeditiously as<br \/>\n\tpossible, preferably within six months from the date of receipt of<br \/>\n\twrit of this order. With this observation the permission as sought<br \/>\n\tfor is granted. Petition is disposed of as withdrawn. No order as to<br \/>\n\tcost.\n<\/p>\n<p>It<br \/>\n\tgoes without saying that the authority concerned shall decide the<br \/>\n\trevision application without being influenced the fact that present<br \/>\n\tpetition is withdrawn from the Court.
