RAMKUMAR, J.\n\n                          -----------------------------------\n\n                     Bail Application No. 3112\/2007\n\n                           ----------------------------------\n\n                 Dated this the 25th  day of May,  2007\n\n\n                                   O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>               Petitioner   who   is     the                 accused   in   Crime<\/p>\n<p>No.187\/2007   of       Mararikulam   Police   Station   for   offences<\/p>\n<p>punishable   under   Sections   447   and   307   IPC,   seeks<\/p>\n<p>anticipatory bail.    The occurrence took place on 17.5.2007.<\/p>\n<p>        2.     The   learned   Public   Prosecutor   opposed   the<\/p>\n<p>application.\n<\/p>\n<p>        3.       Anticipatory   bail   cannot   be   granted   in   a   case   of<\/p>\n<p>this nature.  But at the same time,  I am inclined to permit the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner     to   surrender   before   the   Investigating   Officer   for<\/p>\n<p>the purpose of interrogation  and then to have his application<\/p>\n<p>for   bail   considered   by   the   Magistrate     having   jurisdiction.<\/p>\n<p>Accordingly,   the   petitioner     shall   surrender   before   the<\/p>\n<p>investigating officer on any day  between   1-6-2007 and   3-6-<\/p>\n<p>2007   for   the   purpose   of   interrogation   and     recovery   of<\/p>\n<p>incriminating material,  if any.
