{"id":48630,"date":"2010-08-12T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2010-08-11T18:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.com\/judgments\/need-to-fill-up-various-vacant-posts-of-scientists-and-create-on-12-august-2010"},"modified":"2018-12-13T21:29:33","modified_gmt":"2018-12-13T15:59:33","slug":"need-to-fill-up-various-vacant-posts-of-scientists-and-create-on-12-august-2010","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.com\/judgments\/need-to-fill-up-various-vacant-posts-of-scientists-and-create-on-12-august-2010","title":{"rendered":"Need To Fill Up Various Vacant Posts Of Scientists And Create &#8230; on 12 August, 2010"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"docsource_main\">Lok Sabha Debates<\/div>\n<div class=\"doc_title\">Need To Fill Up Various Vacant Posts Of Scientists And Create &#8230; on 12 August, 2010<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<pre><\/pre>\n<p>                                                      an&gt; <\/p>\n<p><a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=Title\">Title<\/a>: Need to fill up various vacant posts of Scientists and create additional posts at National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad for nutrition awareness activities in backward areas of Telangana in Andhra Pradesh-laid.   <\/p>\n<p><a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=SHRI%20PONNAM%20PRABHAKAR%20\">SHRI PONNAM PRABHAKAR <\/a>(<a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=KARIMNAGAR\">KARIMNAGAR<\/a>): I would like to draw the kind attention of the august House regarding the need to fill up various posts which are lying vacant, particularly the posts of Scientists and creation of additional posts at the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) in Hyderabad.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 As the House is aware that people are suffering from nutritional diseases like iron deficiency, anemia (IDA) and Iodine Deficiency Diseases (IDD) due to many reasons especially in the backward areas like Telangana in Andhra Pradesh. The administrative machinery for project identification, formulation and implementation, particularly at the State Level, need to be strengthened, taking into account the programme content and coverage especially in the rural and backward areas like Telangana region in Andhra Pradesh. For this, the Government should create additional posts for nutrition extension and awareness activities and also additional posts should be created in the training wing in the remaining Eleventh Five Year Plan.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 For this, proper awareness campaigns should be organized at the village level regularly preferably on Sundays. To implement the projects, sufficient administrative manpower is required at each level.
