SURENDRA MOHAN, J.\n               ------------------------------------------------------------\n                       W.P(C) NO:153 OF 2010-T\n               -----------------------------------------------------------\n                  Dated this the 5th January, 2010.\n\n                                   JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioners are persons who retired from service as<\/p>\n<p>Superintendents, Head Surveyors and First Grade Surveyors<\/p>\n<p>respectively.  They were initially appointed as Second Grade<\/p>\n<p>Surveyors on recruitment though the Public Service Commission.<\/p>\n<p>According to them though they had exercised their re-option, they<\/p>\n<p>were not granted the scale of pay admissible in terms of the said re-<\/p>\n<p>option. Their scale of pay was also not revised and fixed according<\/p>\n<p>to the revision of pay from time to time.                             According to the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners, other similarly situated persons were given all the<\/p>\n<p>benefits that were denied to them.                            They have submitted<\/p>\n<p>representations before the third respondent narrating their<\/p>\n<p>grievances and though the said representations have been pending,<\/p>\n<p>no orders have been passed thereon till date.                          In   the  above<\/p>\n<p>circumstances this writ petition can be disposed of directing the<\/p>\n<p>third respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P9 series<\/p>\n<p>representations expeditiously.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2. Accordingly this writ petition is disposed of directing the<\/p>\n<p>third respondent to consider and pass final orders on Ext.P9 series<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WPC 153\/2010                   2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>representations as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within<\/p>\n<p>a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this<\/p>\n<p>judgment, which the petitioners are permitted to produce before<\/p>\n<p>the said authority.<\/p>\n<pre>\n\n\n\n\n                                         K.
