RAMKUMAR, J.\n            --------------------------------------------------\n               Bail Application No.8721 of 2010\n            ---------------------------------------------------\n           Dated this the 7th day of January, 2011\n\n                                ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>     The petitioner, who is the sole accused in Crime No.965 of<\/p>\n<p>2010 of Peramangalam Police Station for offences punishable<\/p>\n<p>under Sections 511 of 376 I.P.C, seeks his enlargement on bail.<\/p>\n<p>The petitioner was arrested on 10\/12\/2010.<\/p>\n<p>      2.   The    learned      Public     Prosecutor       opposed    the<\/p>\n<p>application submitting inter alia that the petitioner who is<\/p>\n<p>employed as security guard in the hospital in question had<\/p>\n<p>sexually assaulted the victim girl aged 12 years who was<\/p>\n<p>hospitalised there for an operation on the next day.<\/p>\n<p>     3.    Having regard to the gravity of the offences, nature of<\/p>\n<p>the allegations levelled against the petitioner,         the propensities<\/p>\n<p>of the petitioner and the other facts and circumstances of the<\/p>\n<p>case, I am of the view that if the petitioner is released on bail, he<\/p>\n<p>will  definitely   influence     and    intimidate      the    prosecution<\/p>\n<p>witnesses. There is also the likelihood of the petitioner making<\/p>\n<p>B.A.No.8721\/2010<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                  2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>himself scarce and fleeing from justice. I am, therefore, not<\/p>\n<p>inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.<\/p>\n<p>     This petition is accordingly dismissed.<\/p>\n<p>                                          V.
