The Accountant General, Veer Chand Patel Path,\n                         Patna.\n                                                         ---Respondents\n\n                                               -----------\n<\/pre>\n<p>8.   22.11.2010               Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the<\/p>\n<p>                   respondent State as also the Accountant General.<\/p>\n<p>                              It is an admitted position that all the retiral dues have been<\/p>\n<p>                   paid by now.\n<\/p>\n<p>                              Learned counsel for the petitioner, however, submits that<\/p>\n<p>                   the retiral dues have been sanctioned and paid to the original writ<\/p>\n<p>                   petitioner Late Binod Kumar Sinha after sufficient delay, for which<\/p>\n<p>                   the present petitioners are entitled to interest.<\/p>\n<p>                              Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that from<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                         -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      the affidavit brought on the record on behalf of the petitioner it is<\/p>\n<p>      not clear as to what is the period and what claims have remained to<\/p>\n<p>      be paid further, may be on account of interest.\n<\/p>\n<p>                In the above circumstances, for redressal of the grievance<\/p>\n<p>      for payment of interest on account of the delay caused on the part of<\/p>\n<p>      the department or its officials, the petitioners propose to present<\/p>\n<p>      their claims by way of representation before the Chief Engineer,<\/p>\n<p>      Road Construction Department, Bihar, Patna (respondent no.4). In<\/p>\n<p>      case such a representation is filed stating the details of their<\/p>\n<p>      grievances as also enclosing the copy of the relevant documents, if<\/p>\n<p>      any, in support of such claims along with the certified copy of the<\/p>\n<p>      present order within a period of four weeks, the grievances of the<\/p>\n<p>      petitioners as raised in their representation be considered and<\/p>\n<p>      disposed of by a reasoned order in accordance with law<\/p>\n<p>      expeditiously, preferably within a period of four months on receipt<\/p>\n<p>      of such representation. In case the representation is accepted, the<\/p>\n<p>      admitted dues, if any, may also be paid.
