Kiran Agrawal by her RTI application dated 21\/11\/2008 sought<br \/>\ninformation from CPIO, BSNL Limited, Telephone Bhawan, Patna regarding action taken on<br \/>\nher letters of complaint and action taken on the same. Failing to receive a response from CPIO,<br \/>\nshe preferred first appeal dated 20\/03\/2009 to FAA which was not adjudicated upon.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.     Accordingly, complainant has preferred second appeal before the Commission which<br \/>\nwas treated as complaint u\/s 18 of the RTI Act.\n<\/p>\n<p>3.      Accordingly, Show Cause notice was issued to the CPIO dated 19\/05\/2010 to Show<br \/>\nCause why a penalty should not be imposed upon him for failing to act within the time frame<br \/>\nstipulated under the Act. An opportunity to be heard in person before imposing penalty was<br \/>\nprovided to the CPIO, O\/o PGMTD, Patna.\n<\/p>\n<p>4.      Accordingly, the matter was heard today. Complainant was not present. Respondent<br \/>\nwas present as above. CPIO explained that the said RTI application was received by CPIO, O\/o<br \/>\nChief General Manager(Telecom), Bihar Circle Office, Patna, and forward to him, which he<br \/>\nreceived on 01\/05\/2009. Following this, he provided information to the CPIO, O\/o PGMTD,<br \/>\nPatna, vide his order dated 20\/06\/2009.\n<\/p>\n<p>5.      Meanwhile, the complainant had preferred first appeal dated 20\/03\/2009 to which she<br \/>\ndid not receive any response.\n<\/p>\n<p>6.        The matter was heard today.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                           DECISION\n<\/p>\n<p>7.        The CPIO, O\/o PGMTD explained that the matter had since been resolved.\n<\/p>\n<p>8.     The complainant also called up the Office of the Commission and informed that she<br \/>\nwas fully satisfied and she has withdrawn her complaint.\n<\/p>\n<p>9.
