It is<br \/>\nsubmitted by him that the Liquidator has been appointed by order<br \/>\ndated 05.11.1998, and by virtue of powers under Section-161 of the<br \/>\nGujarat Co-operative Societies Act, 1961, liquidation proceedings can<br \/>\nbe extended upto a maximum period of seven years.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tIt<br \/>\nis further submitted that in the present case, the tenure of seven<br \/>\nyears has expired on 31st December, 2006, whereas the<br \/>\nimpugned Notice has been issued on 4th January, 2010. The<br \/>\nlearned counsel for the petitioner has relied upon the judgment in<br \/>\nNaynaben Jashvantsinh Vihol Vs. State of Gujarat &amp; Others,<br \/>\n2010(1) G.L.H. 538.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tIssue<br \/>\nNotice, returnable on 18.06.2010.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tBy<br \/>\nway of ad-interim relief, the execution, implementation and operation<br \/>\nof the impugned Notice dated 4th January, 2010, shall<br \/>\nremain stayed, till then.\n<\/p>\n<p>(Smt.
