Padmanabhan, J.  <\/p>\n<p> 1. The petitioner has approached this court praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to remove the seal affixed by the respondents 1 and 2 on the petitioner&#8217;s shop No.569, Trichy Main road, Thathagapatty, Salem and allow the petitioner to run the Lottery shop for selling 2 number Mizoram State Lottery Tickets.\n<\/p>\n<p>  2. This court ordered notice to the respondents. The Government Advocate appearing for the respondents represent that a crime has been registered against the petitioner for selling prohibited lottery tickets and the lottery tickets <\/p>\n<p>seized from the petitioner has been sent to the forensic department.\n<\/p>\n<p>  3. Be it as it may.\n<\/p>\n<p>  4. There is no reason to seal the premises since the petitioner has got a right to carry on any other business.\n<\/p>\n<p>  5. Therefore, on the petitioner filing an affidavit before the first respondent that he will not hereafter carry on lottery business till the disposal of the criminal case, the first respondent shall remove the seal. In case of violation by the petitioner, it will be open to the first respondent to seal the premises once again.\n<\/p>\n<p>  6. It is needless to state that the criminal case against the petitioner shall be proceeded according to law.\n<\/p>\n<p>      7. The writ petition is ordered on the above terms.
