Justice V.RAMKUMAR\n\n Dated :05\/06\/2007\n\n O R D E R\n                             V.RAMKUMAR, J.\n\n                       ----------------------------------------------\n\n                       Bail Application No. 3290\/2007\n\n                       ----------------------------------------------\n\n                    Dated this the 5th  day of June, 2007\n\n\n                                     O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>                      Petitioner   who   is   the   sole     accused   in   Crime   No.<\/p>\n<p>81\/2007   of   Munnar   Police   Station   for     offences   punishable   under<\/p>\n<p>Sections   308,   326   and   294(b)   I.P.C.,   seeks    anticipatory   bail.         The<\/p>\n<p>occurrence took place on 24.3.2007.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>        2.     The learned Public Prosecutor opposed the application.<\/p>\n<p>        3.       Anticipatory   bail   cannot   be   granted   in   a   case   of   this<\/p>\n<p>nature.   But at the same time,   I am inclined to permit the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>to   surrender   before   the   Investigating   Officer   for   the   purpose   of<\/p>\n<p>interrogation  and  then  to  have his application  for  bail  considered  by<\/p>\n<p>the Magistrate   having jurisdiction.   Accordingly, the petitioner   shall<\/p>\n<p>surrender   before   the   investigating   officer   on   any   day     between<\/p>\n<p>13.6.2007   and   15.6.2007  for   the   purpose   of   interrogation   and<\/p>\n<p>recovery   of   incriminating   material,     if   any.
