Gole)\n\nDate of Hearing         :        16.10.2009\n\nDate of Decision        :        16.10.2009\n\nFACTS<\/pre>\n<p> :\n<\/p>\n<p>       By his letter of 2.8.2008, the appellant had requested for copies of<br \/>\ndocuments\/file notings relating to his promotion from the rank of Supdt.<br \/>\nEngineer to Addl. Chief Engineer for the vacancy year 2005-06, as held by<br \/>\nMOD, DOPT &amp; UPSC etc. Vide letter dated 15.9.2008, the CPIO had<br \/>\nagreed to provide copies of requisite documents on payment of prescribed<br \/>\nfee. The appellant has filed the appeal dated 18.11.2008 before this<br \/>\nCommission wherein he has alleged that no documents have been provided<br \/>\nto him.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.      Heard on 16.10.2009. Appellant not present. The public authority<br \/>\nis represented by the officers named above. Shri Mittal produces a copy of<br \/>\ntheir letter dated 21.11.2008 vide which documents containing 100 pages<br \/>\nof information have been provided to the appellant. The appellant is not<br \/>\npresent before the Commission to contest this claim.\n<\/p>\n<p>                            DECISION\n<\/p>\n<p>3.
