Respondents\n\nPrayer\n\nPetition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying\nfor the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to\nconsider the petitioner's representation, dated 01.09.2010 and 15.09.2010 within\nreasonable time.\n\n!For petitioner\t... Mr.K.M.Vijayakumar\n\t \t    Special Government Pleader\n\n:ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tHeard Mr.N.Balakrishnan, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the<br \/>\npetitioner, as well as Mr.K.M.Vijayakumar, the learned Special Government<br \/>\nPleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel<br \/>\nappearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if<br \/>\nthe representation of the petitioner, dated 15.09.2010, is directed to be<br \/>\ndisposed of, within a specified period.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the<br \/>\nrespondents, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. In view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of this<br \/>\npetition and in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on<br \/>\nbehalf of the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to consider and<br \/>\ndispose of the petitioner&#8217;s representation, dated 15.09.2010, within a period of<br \/>\neight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.  However, if it is<br \/>\nfound that the issue in the petitioner&#8217;s representation, dated 15.09.2010,<br \/>\nrequires the consideration of the authorities concerned, as prescribed under<br \/>\nSection 63 of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959, it would<br \/>\nbe open to the first respondent to pass such an order asking the petitioner to<br \/>\napproach the appropriate authorities, as per law.  The petitioner is directed to<br \/>\nsubmit a copy of the representation, dated 15.09.2010, along with a copy of this<br \/>\norder, to the first respondent. However, it is made clear, that this Court, by<br \/>\nthis order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t5. The writ petition stands disposed of, with the above directions.
