NO. 15209 OF 2006\n                             = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n\n                   DATED THIS, THE 27TH DAY OF MAY, 2008.\n\n                                     J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Petitioner challenges the revenue recovery proceedings initiated by the Kerala<\/p>\n<p>State Financial Enterprises Ltd. for recovery of the amount alleged to be due from the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner who is a subscriber in number of chitties conducted by them. When he<\/p>\n<p>defaulted the repayment and amounts fell in arrears,      revenue recovery proceedings<\/p>\n<p>were initiated by the K.S.F.E. Ltd. and disputing the correctness of the        amount<\/p>\n<p>demanded, this writ petition is filed.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2. As of now, materials on record are not sufficient for adjudicating the disputed<\/p>\n<p>question of fact and to quantify the amount. However, it is submitted that there is a<\/p>\n<p>one time settlement scheme now offered up to 31.5.2008. Since the matter was<\/p>\n<p>pending before this court and the writ petition came up for hearing only today, time for<\/p>\n<p>availing the benefit of one time settlement facility in the case of the petitioner is<\/p>\n<p>extended up to 15.6.2008. If the petitioner makes remittance of Rs. 25,000\/- (Rupees<\/p>\n<p>twenty five thousand only) and files a representation seeking the benefit of one time<\/p>\n<p>settlement scheme, such benefits may be extended to him in accordance with law. In<\/p>\n<p>case no such payment and representation are made on or before 15.6.2008, petitioner<\/p>\n<p>will not be entitled to the benefit of this judgment. Revenue recovery proceedings taken<\/p>\n<p>WP(C) 15209\/2006                     :2:\n<\/p>\n<p>against the petitioner will, therefore, stand deferred and if only there is<\/p>\n<p>default in making the payment as stated above, that Revenue Recovery<\/p>\n<p>Proceedings be continued.\n<\/p>\n<p>      The writ petition is disposed of as above.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                            P.R.
