RAMKUMAR, J.\n\n\n                    ````````````````````````````````````````````````````\n\n                            B.A. No. 1894 OF 2007 B\n\n                    ````````````````````````````````````````````````````\n\n                   Dated this the 29th day of March, 2007\n\n\n                                      O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>               Petitioner, who is the 4th accused in Crime No.37\/2007<\/p>\n<p>of   Mathilakam   Police   Station   for   offences   punishable   under<\/p>\n<p>sections   143, 147, 448,  324 and 308 read  with section   149  IPC,<\/p>\n<p>seeks anticipatory bail.\n<\/p>\n<p>       2.      Learned Public Prosecutor opposed the application.\n<\/p>\n<p>       3.      The case of the prosecution is that at about 2.15 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>on   15.1.2007   the   defacto   complainant   was   assaulted   by   the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner and others armed with deadly weapons like sword, iron<\/p>\n<p>block,   iron   pipe,   etc.     The   petitioner   is   alleged   to   have   inflicted<\/p>\n<p>injuries by hitting with a stool.\n<\/p>\n<p>       4.      Anticipatory   bail   cannot   be   granted   in   a   case   of   this<\/p>\n<p>nature.  But at the same time, I am inclined to permit the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>to surrender  before   the Investigating   Officer   for  interrogation   and<\/p>\n<p>thereafter to have his application for regular bail considered by the<\/p>\n<p>Magistrate   concerned.     Accordingly,   the   petitioner   is   directed   to<\/p>\n<p>surrender before the Investigating Officer either on  3.4.2007 or on<\/p>\n<p>BA.1894\/07<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">                                       : 2 :<\/span><\/p>\n<p>4.4.2007   for   the   purpose   of   interrogation.     The   petitioner   shall,<\/p>\n<p>thereafter,   be   produced   on   the   same   day   before   the   concerned<\/p>\n<p>Magistrate, who  shall consider   and dispose  of the application  for<\/p>\n<p>regular bail, if any, filed by the petitioner, preferably on the same<\/p>\n<p>date on which it is filed.\n<\/p>\n<p>       This application is disposed of as above.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                   (V.
