RAMKUMAR, J.\n                     * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *\n              Bail Application No.5452 of 2010\n               * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *\n            Dated: 14th day of September, 2010\n\n                               ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Petitioner, who is the sole accused in Crime No.217\/2010 of<\/p>\n<p>Valayam Police Station for offences punishable under Sections<\/p>\n<p>308, 354 and 452 IPC, seeks his enlargement on bail.            The<\/p>\n<p>occurrence took place on 28.7.2010. The petitioner was arrested<\/p>\n<p>on 30.7.2010.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.    The application was opposed on behalf of the<\/p>\n<p>prosecution.\n<\/p>\n<p>      3.    Having regard to the nature of the allegations levelled<\/p>\n<p>against the petitioner, the relative conduct of the parties, the<\/p>\n<p>nature of the injury sustained           and the other facts and<\/p>\n<p>circumstances of the case, if the petitioner is released on bail, he<\/p>\n<p>will definitely influence and intimidate the prosecution witnesses.<\/p>\n<p>There is also the likelihood of       the petitioner making himself<\/p>\n<p>scarce and fleeing from justice. I am, therefore, not inclined to<\/p>\n<p>grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.<\/p>\n<p>      This petition is accordingly dismissed.<\/p>\n<p>                                         V.
