Justice PIUS C.KURIAKOSE\n\n Dated :11\/02\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                            PIUS C.KURIAKOSE, J.\n\n                             -------------------------\n\n                          W.P.(C) No. 1080 of 2008\n\n                        ---------------------------------\n\n              Dated, this the 11th day of February, 2008\n\n\n                                 J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>       Heard both sides.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n       It   is   seen   that   even   in   Ext.P9,   the   last   order   passed   by   the<\/p>\n<p>District Collector, the petitioner is directed to obtain a licence from<\/p>\n<p>the Panchayat before commencing bricks manufacturing unit.   The<\/p>\n<p>learned   counsel   for   the   petitioner   submits   that   an   application   for<\/p>\n<p>licence   is   already   submitted   before   the   Panchayat.     Under   these<\/p>\n<p>circumstances,   I   dispose   of   the   writ   petition   directing   the   5th<\/p>\n<p>respondent to take up the application for licence submitted by the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner,   consider   the   same   in   the   light   of   Ext.P9   order   of   the<\/p>\n<p>District   Collector   and   pass   orders   at   the   earliest.     At   any   rate,<\/p>\n<p>orders shall be passed by the Panchayat within a period of 10 days<\/p>\n<p>on receipt of a copy of this judgment.
