Petitioner in W.P.(C)No.<\/p>\n<p>23961\/2009 is the husband of Nini, who was found<\/p>\n<p>dead on 11.3.2009 at about 6.30 p.m. in a canal.<\/p>\n<p>Crime No.602\/2009 of Kothamangalam Police Station<\/p>\n<p>was  registered  under  Section  174  of  Code   of<\/p>\n<p>Criminal  Procedure  and  is  being   investigated.<\/p>\n<p>Dissatisfied with the investigation, the husband as<\/p>\n<p>well as the father of the deceased have filed these<\/p>\n<p>petitions  to  entrust  the  investigation  to  the<\/p>\n<p>Central Bureau of Investigation or to some other<\/p>\n<p>Agency.\n<\/p>\n<p>    2. Learned Government Pleader submitted that<\/p>\n<p>investigation of Crime No.602\/2009 of Kothamangalam<\/p>\n<p>Police Station has already been entrusted with the<\/p>\n<p>Crime Branch, as per order dated 7.10.2009 of the<\/p>\n<p>Director General of Police.\n<\/p>\n<p>WPC 20013&amp;23961\/09       2<\/p>\n<p>     3. As investigation has already been entrusted<\/p>\n<p>with the Crime Branch, I find it not necessary to<\/p>\n<p>give any other direction or necessity to entrust<\/p>\n<p>the   investigation  to  the   Central  Bureau   of<\/p>\n<p>Investigation.\n<\/p>\n<p>     Hoping that the Crime Branch will conduct a<\/p>\n<p>thorough and expeditious investigation, petitions<\/p>\n<p>are disposed with liberty to the petitioners to<\/p>\n<p>approach the court and seek appropriate remedy at a<\/p>\n<p>later stage, if warranted.\n<\/p>\n<p>2nd November, 2009    (M.Sasidharan Nambiar, Judge)<br \/>\ntkv<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kerala High Court E.O.
