RAMKUMAR, J.\n                     .................................\n                       W.P.(c).No.8115 of 2010\n                    ....................................\n                           Dated:04.06.2010\n\n                               JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Petitioners, who are the parents of a 17 year old boy who was<\/p>\n<p>killed in a road traffic accident at about 5.30.p.m on 26.1.2001 on<\/p>\n<p>the Cherthala-Ernakulam Highway , inter alia, seeks a direction to<\/p>\n<p>hand over the investigation of Crime No.902\/2009 of Cherthala<\/p>\n<p>Police Station to the Crime Branch of Police represented by the 7th<\/p>\n<p>respondent herein.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2. The learned Government Pleader on instructions submitted<\/p>\n<p>that the investigation of the case is almost over and the Police will<\/p>\n<p>be filing a final report charge-sheeting the accused persons before<\/p>\n<p>the appropriate court shortly.\n<\/p>\n<p>      3. The said submission is recorded. In case the petitioners<\/p>\n<p>have surviving grievance either with regard to the investigation or<\/p>\n<p>with regard to the offences or with regard to the accused persons<\/p>\n<p>who are being charge-sheeted, they can move the concerned<\/p>\n<p>Magistrate for appropriate directions in the light of the decision in<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/doc\/1836621\/\">Sakiri Vasu v. State of U.P and others<\/a>. (2008(1) KLT 724 SC).<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(c).No.8115 of 2010<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                               2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>They can also move the Magistrate for further investigation, in<\/p>\n<p>case the investigation conducted by the local police is incomplete<\/p>\n<p>or unsatisfactory.\n<\/p>\n<p>     This writ petition is disposed of leaving the petitioners<\/p>\n<p>to seek any of the aforesaid remedies.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                      V.
