Mr.R.Manoharan\n\t\t     Government Advocate\n\n\n:ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tHeard Mr.M.Kannan, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the<br \/>\npetitioner, as well as Mr.R.Manoharan, the learned Government Advocate appearing<br \/>\non behalf of the respondent.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel<br \/>\nappearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if<br \/>\nthe respondent is directed to dispose of the R.T.R. Appeal No.2647 or 2009,<br \/>\nfiled by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a<br \/>\nspecified period.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent,<br \/>\nhas no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. In view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of this<br \/>\npetition and in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on<br \/>\nbehalf of the petitioner, the respondent is directed to consider and dispose of<br \/>\nthe R.T.R. Appeal No.2647 or 2009, filed by the petitioner, on merits and in<br \/>\naccordance with law,  after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner,<br \/>\nas well as to the other persons concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from<br \/>\nthe date of receipt of a copy of this order.  The petitioner is directed to<br \/>\nsubmit a copy of the R.T.R. Appeal No.2647 or 2009, along with a copy of this<br \/>\norder, to the respondent. However, it is made clear, that this Court, by this<br \/>\norder, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t5. The writ petition stands disposed of, with the above directions.
