Mr.R.Manoharan\n\t \t     Government Advocate\n\n:ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tHeard Mrs.N.Krishnaveni, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the<br \/>\npetitioner, as well as Mr.R.Manoharan, the learned Government Advocate appearing<br \/>\non behalf of the respondents.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel<br \/>\nappearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if<br \/>\nthe representation of the petitioner, dated 26.08.2010, is directed to be<br \/>\ndisposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents,<br \/>\nhas no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. In view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of this<br \/>\npetition and in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on<br \/>\nbehalf of the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to consider and<br \/>\ndispose of the petitioner&#8217;s representation, dated 26.08.2010, on merits and in<br \/>\naccordance with law, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, as<br \/>\nwell as to the other persons concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the<br \/>\ndate of receipt of a copy of this order.  The petitioner is directed to submit a<br \/>\ncopy of the representation, dated 26.08.2010, along with a copy of this order,<br \/>\nto the first respondent. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this<br \/>\norder, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t5. The writ petition stands disposed of, with the above directions.
